Introduction	As autumn breezes in, the Chiang Kai-shek Shilin Residence will be holding the annual chrysanthemum show between November 19 and December 4. The 16-day exhibition will take place at the Shilin Residence and the Yuanshan Park of the Taipei Expo Park.
	Now in its tenth year and in conjunction with the centennial of ROC, the motif of the chrysanthemum show will be “A Dialogue between the Chrysanthemum and Poetry.” The city government invites visitors to not only appreciate the beauty of, but also to recite poetry about the flowers as the ancient Chinese gentry did.
	The largest exhibition of its kind in Taiwan, the Chrysanthemum Show at Shilin Residence features a rich variety of these beautiful flowers, including rare specimen such as Dali Chrysanthemum and Cliff Chrysanthemum.
	Cultivation of chrysanthemum requires a period of one year or more and attentive care. Display arrangements also require specialized knowledge, allowing exhibitors to bring out the best of the plant before the public.
	Over the course of the exhibition, there will be seven activities taking place during the weekends; they range from music performances, chrysanthemum drawing, to hands-on sessions. The organizers welcome the public to come and relish a moment of floral beauty in the refreshingly cool weather.
